I want to do a good contemporary solo next year. In my past five years of a solo i have done jazz and musical theater so I need some help with songs. I want something emotional and kind of slow but still has some beat. PLEASEEEE HELP!

i am getting ready to be in a vocal competition and i need to pick a song! i am an alto, and the song HAS to be a christian song, preferably something contemporary. it doesnt have to necessarily be performed by a female artist, any song is fine, whether meant for female or male voice, because i can transpose. i can also play the piano along with it, or have a soundtrack. acappella is also an option, but not preferred. all suggestions are appreciated!

Social workers help in cases such as death/dying. Take a patient who does not have the potential of full recovery, the doctors, social workers and family sometimes the patient as well have what is called a family meeting. The social worker then explains exactly what the physician said but in words that a patient would understand. Sometimes a Doctor can say something and it is mistaken in the form of false hope. Social workers also play a huge roll with insurance, and finding further placement for that patient if needed, they are responsible for obtaining the patient home health if needed. Most of the social workers that I work with are/were nurses who wanted a change in career, so they do have a lot of medical background.
I am applying for a college music theater program. I need to have a prepared monologue from a contemporary realistic play. It should be a 1 to 2 minute monologue and be age appropriate. I am 17 years old, but will be 18 at the time of the audition. Suggestions??

To me, bay windows are inherently traditional and old fashioned looking. Is there a way to dress them and make them look less traditional and more contemporary? Something besides blinds?
you said no blinds , I have seen a house that had custom made micro blinds they are covered with a fabric colour of your choice and they give a modern look to the windows, each window glass/panel can be treated individually and they really look nice, they are not your regular blind , it looks like a honey comb when you look at them side way, I believe to have seen them at Blinds To Go , they are custom made .
