Is there a special event in Puerto Rico during the summertime I should base my vacation around?

I’m planning to go to PR next summer but don’t know the date. I’m flexible and would like to plan it around an event there. Know of any good ones in the summertime?

    Some events that occur during summer are:
    1.Patron Saint Festivals (2 to 4 towns at the same time have festivals because they have the same Patron Saint or Santo Patron
    2.Festival Playero or Beach Festival-there are various beaches that hold festivals with different activities, one that is famous is in La Playa Tubos in Dorado on the north coast
    3. Festival De las Flores in the town of Aibonito. This is the traditional Flower festival with a wide variety of flowers on display to take in their beauty and buy. There is music, food, dancing, the works.
    4.Festival de la Bahia or Bay Festival-this is in Old San Juan on the Piers at the Water Front. There is music with singers of different types of music, dancing, food, drinks and lots of people go there.
    5. San Juan Food Festival or SOFO- this is where the main streets are closed to traffic and all the restaurants put tables on the streets and sidewalks and everyone eats, drinks and dances.
    These are just some of the events along with special appearances by famous singers at the Puerto Rico Coloseum.

    If you like salsa dancing, at the end of July there is a whole week where they hold the Salsa Congress. I went for the first time this past year and enjoyed it very much.
