What museum should I take my 5yr Nephew to in So Cal?

His birthday is coming up and I would like to take him somewhere fun and adventerous. An interactive museum or something like that might be cool. We live in Southern California. Any ideas?

Head to Balboa Park, San Diego.

Several museums, A zoo, and the park. Lots for you to enjoy as well.
