What museums in France can you not where shorts in?

In other words…what museums do they want you to look nice in? I heard that some museums there don’t allow you to where shorts. Which ones in France are they?

Your thinking of Notre Dame and Sacre Cour. These are still churches and it is a sign of disrespect not being fully clothed. It is the same with churches in most of European, particularly Roman Catholic churches.

None that I’m aware of. But the French people don’t usually wear shorts in public. Those who do are looked down upon.
I wouldn’t really bother wearing one.
