What do you recommend to celebrate 6th October day?
September 222009
I like to celebrate the 6th October day, what do you recommend for that day. I have seen almost all military museums in Cairo and the Panorama 6 th October. Any new ideas even if it’s simple ?
Nada : I thought about the same idea, but it’s not always possible.
i suggest that we pray two rak3at as rahhma for the lost ones.
then we can pray that their souls go to Heaven as God has promised .
it will be gesture of gratitude on our part to those who lost their lives in battle.
those who were injured , and those who participated and werent injured will get their share in our prayers when we wish them to enjoy God’s blessings on earth and in Heaven.
i personally will try to go out after these prayers to avoid watching RUD QALBY bec im fed up with it and need to see something else.
going to the 6th Oct Panorama would be impossible bec it might be too crowded .

i believe you can meet those soldiers that were in 6 th October war, and listen to their adventures and miracles happened to them and get amused by the way they are describing their missions………..wow!!!!
as well as (for me) , i see that these guys are from the most interesting people i’ve heard or listened from them !!

The thing we all should do not just on that day, but 24/7 all year round is just be good citizens! It sounds silly, but really by doing the best you can to be a good citizen with all that entails in your every day life you are making Egypt a better place to live in. I believe this is how we can best serve our country, and honour the memory of those who gave their lives to protect us.

you can go to one of the Suez canal cities such as ismailia…
like i told you before "al nosob al tezkary" where you’ll find a panorama for the event of the battle and the names of all martyrs..
and there’s "tabbet el shagara" where there was the actual camp for israeli soldiers where you can get close to what happened on 6th of October….
