    Why do they need …
Why do they need four flutes on stage (plus probably more flutes in the pit orchestra) for this…?

    That choir was absolutely fantastic

  9. dlrunner says:

    Menhiria, you are …
Menhiria, you are right. The spinning ballet dancer just subtracts from Paul’s great performance.

  10. ptchr4evr9 says:

    when he shakes it …
when he shakes it creates his amazing vibrato, ppl create vibrato in many ways, that just happens to be his

    PAUL POTTS OWNS !!!!

  12. Bleak says:

    should he be …
should he be shaking like that when he sustains? However, he’s not bad

  13. Kef1984 says:

    Paul is a little …
Paul is a little sharp at the start of the song. But nevertheless, being sharp is better than flat isn’t it?

  14. Menhiria says:

    they shouldn’t have …
they shouldn’t have included that in the show, it just gets corny with that balletic dancing, the choir on the other hand was indeed complementing Paul’s performance almost to perfection. :-) And besides now i have a better idea- sit the players on both sides of Paul and have the choir standing in the middle on a slightly hoisted platform, so that the choir members would be seen from behind Paul, renouncing the whole idea of the balletic digression.

  15. Menhiria says:

    when i commented, …
when i commented, youtube transmission’s just got weak and basically stuck. After the video continued again till the end, i still thought what i said in my last comment here. I agree that i was wrong about the position of the players, and they really had to be where they are, but no room was needed for the spinning balletic device because it was useless, .

  16. LigaraMusic says:

    you didnt watch the …
you didnt watch the whole video did you? lol what about the choir space at the end and the room for the spinning ballet stuff

  17. Menhiria says:

Am i the only one …
    Am i the only one who thinks that this performance gets cheesy and a bit moronic because of thebalet dancer in the background?! What the heck the producers had in their minds when they decided to include her on this performance?! it just looks like she’s superfluous up there!! What they needed to do instead is to expand the space in which the players are sitting, to sit them on both sides of Paul, a group to his right and a group to his left. :-}

Why are we so quick …
Why are we so quick to dismiss his talent and his success? To compare Pavarotti and Paul is totally wrong. Both men are different in many ways. Pavarotti is a PROFESSIONAL opera singer who was privileged with proper singing lessons and total devotion as a career. Paul on the other hand is a layman who worked hard all his life with a passion for the opera and happens to have a fantastic voice. Bottom line, we all wish that it is US standing in his shoes and in his limelight.

    True. Coming from …
True. Coming from his kind of job i can understand that having a voice like that and doing something not as great is amazing.

  21. TJames7 says:

    Pavarotti is …
Pavarotti is Italian….not a god. For “Nessun dorma” I do say Potts sounds better. His crescendos and decrescendos are much more dynamic. Just my opinion.

  22. RadieCarter says:

    snoozefest

  23. GIANNHSPEIRAIAS says:

my god you put a …
my god you put a boy in front of the god?

  24. GIANNHSPEIRAIAS says:

no one in the world …
no one in the world where that near of pavarotti he has a god voice this man has a good opera voice nothing more

  25. Tzimnewman3 says:
